Celebrating special birthdays with a specific birthday flower dates back to ancient Roman times. Roman birthday celebrations included honouring the Roman Gods and decorating their altars with flowers, and family and friends offered congratulations to each other by giving flowers as gifts. Flower types were chosen because of their abundance at certain times of the year.

Taking inspiration from the Roman origins Azendi's designers produced this collection of exclusive Birthday Flowers, each one representing a different birth month. These intricately crafted pendants are a celebration of life, each highly personal. The pendants are sterling silver with a rhodium finish. Rhodium, a precious metal from the platinum family, is used as it stops silver from tarnishing. Each comes complete with a tag containing the Latin name for the month.
